Our Achievements So Far

ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Five times winners of the highly valued and recognized excellence and innovative NGO Gold Achievement award and four times winners of the Creative and Result Oriented NGO Achievement award, MZWC is recognized and trusted in Ghana for successfully implementing over 210 projects in rural Ghana all valued at over US$7.5million which has benefited over 300 communities and translated into over 600 community co-operative micro enterprise where varieties of household consumables like soaps, detergent, writing chalk, shoe polish, edible oil, spoons, knives, simple farming tools and implements like hoes, cutlasses and several others are produced at cheaper prices. Further, we receive monthly acknowledgements from partner organizations and several local governments in whose jurisdiction we have implemented projects including beneficiary communities. A volunteer led organization, it has been calculated that over 110,000 hours of volunteer labour has been donated by over 300 volunteers both in field and in offices thus resulting in saving about 93% of labour cost which is invested in field project activities. Last year, sports and violence prevention were successfully introduced into our programmes of activities.
